I am an experienced, qualified and accredited Integrative Counsellor, with over 15 years’ experience working within NHS and as a Supervisor.

Registered and accredited member of BACP (British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy, I am bound by their Ethical Code of Practice and regularly supervised receiving updated training.

I draw on various approaches (Psychodynamic, CBT and Humanistic) to suit each individual client, with an aim of helping you explore your emotional and mental health concerns, with encouragement towards self- awareness and personal growth.  This is offered in a supportive and confidential setting.

I offer face-to-face sessions, short-term and open-ended to Adults, Couples, Young Adults (16 years onwards).

I work successfully with various insurance companies and Employee Assisted Programmes (EAP’s). I am BUPA registered, providing counselling for short and longer term.

I am a qualified Supervisor within the NHS and offer supervision within my private practice to Counsellors and trainee Student Counsellors.

How to make an appointment
Monday to Friday - Day and Evening
Individual Sessions - £45 for 50 minutes
Couple Counselling - £60 per hour/£80 for 1.5 hours
Supervision - £50 per session

An Initial session is offered, the aim of which is to explore your reasons for seeking counselling. This gives you the opportunity to ask questions on the way I work and to discuss how you wish to proceed. (Referrals may be made at this stage). 
Follow on sessions are offered after the initial session.  Sessions are generally offered on a weekly basis, at the same day/time each week. This ensures that you are offered a guaranteed space.  Alternative arrangements are possible.
Short-term; Long-term and Open-ended counselling offered
(Concessions available for those on low income, Students and Student trainee Counsellors - Please bring proof of Student ID)

Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) checked.

Additional experience

Student Counsellor within a University setting,
Bereavement Counsellor at St Christopher’s Hospice, London where I co-facilitated a Bereavement Training course for trainee Counsellors. 
Rape and Sexual abuse support worker
Counsellor at MIND, the mental health charity working with complex personality disorders.

Qualifications and Training:

  • Diploma Integrative Counselling
  • Certificate in Supervision (British Psychological Society)
  • IPT (Interpersonal Psychotherapy) trained and accredited - NICE recommended
  • Compassion Focussed Therapy
  • Certificate in Stress Management
