Counsellor BA (Hons) Registered Member MBACP

About counselling

I understand how talking and being honest in the company of someone unfamiliar can be daunting, and to begin with, the prospect of counselling can feel overwhelming.

Counselling as a process may not always seem easy, as I have discovered on my own journey. It can feel like a roller coaster of emotions with you being its passenger. As your counsellor, I will be there alongside you through the challenges you are experiencing, and facing in your life, and together we will face what is troubling you at the pace you decide.

Counselling is a talking therapy that can help with a range of mental and emotional problems and offers an opportunity within a trusting therapeutic relationship to explore our thoughts and feelings both honestly and openly, surrounding any issues that affect us. I offer a safe, confidential supportive, nurturing environment, to enable you the opportunity to explore your feelings and emotions without judgement. The benefits of this therapeutic relationship can offer you an opportunity for personal insight, growth and change to emerge.
